1984 Ciocc San Cristobal Bike 57cm Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 series Groupset 700c Clincher Wheelset

The Ciocc San Cristobal is one of Italy's most iconic steel racing frames, representing the golden era of hand-built bicycles. Founded in 1969 by master frame builder Giovanni Pelizzoli in Curno, near Bergamo, Ciocc quickly earned a reputation for producing beautifully crafted racing machines using traditional lugged construction and precision Italian craftsmanship. The name "Ciocc," Pelizzoli's family nickname, became synonymous with quality and performance.

The San Cristobal model was introduced to celebrate Italian rider Claudio Corti's victory at the 1977 Amateur World Road Championship in San Cristóbal, Venezuela, where he rode a Ciocc bicycle to the rainbow jersey. The triumph propelled the small Italian builder onto the international stage, and the San Cristobal became Ciocc's flagship model. Built from premium Columbus steel tubing with race-proven geometry and meticulous hand finishing, it remains highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts as one of the finest Italian steel racing frames ever produced.
