In late 1993, the DeRosa Titanio was introduced and delivered to the Gewiss-Ballan Team. This innovative racing machine quickly made its mark, providing a significant advantage to the team.

The impact was immediate and profound. Throughout 1994, the Gewiss-Ballan Team achieved remarkable results, amassing over 40 victories. The team's accomplishments included notable wins at Milan-San Remo by G. Furlan, Liege-Bastogne-Liege secured by E. Berzin, and Fleche Vallone, where Argentin, Furlan, and Berzin all made their mark. One of the most significant triumphs was Berzin's victory over M. Induráin in the Giro D’Italia. Additionally, V. Bobrik clinched the Tour of Lombardy.
Team Members
Among the team’s notable riders was Ermanno Brignoli, who joined Gewiss-Ballan in November 1994. Brignoli played a crucial support role, assisting team captains in the most prestigious races. He remained with the Gewiss team for four years before moving on to support Marco Pantani with Mercatone Uno for another four years.
